Replacement 6.5" LCD screen

Replace the specific broken LCD screen that needs replacing in your dashboard without replacing the whole module. BMW will only provide the complete assembly at a significant cost. Reduce the cost of your repair by changing the screen inside the central infotainment display unit. The display unit needs to be removed from the dash and the screen replaced inside. No coding is necessary when replacing the component part.

Instructions

.PDF Instructions are provided with the purchase to explain how to change the LCD screen in the infotainment module. Instructions do not cover how to remove the screen module from the car.

T8 + T20 Torx bits are needed to change the screen in the infotainment module. Please see the third image for a sample of the instructions.

There are a number of types of LCD screen fitted to these vehicles. Please remove your Screen module and confirm the part number on the back of the screen housing before ordering to ensure the part will fit your module.
