Was quoted £1600 at a Vauxhall dealer for replacing this part. Saved nearly £1500 doing it myself! Apart from a fiddly few clips to get out at the start it was pretty straightforward and the very clear instructions aided a successful reinstallation! Up and working, better than it has since I bought the vehicle 2 years ago! Feeling proud of myself for completing a job as a non-expert! And fairly smug that Vauxhall didn’t make any money out of me 😊 Quick delivery and job complete!

I’ve been without a media screen in my Astra for years after the original one stopped working because of the common fault. Vauxhall quoted me £1000 to repair it so I thought I’d just have to do without it for good. When the language changed to Italian (thanks to my little boy touching the blank screen!) I felt I’d better try to find a solution! After spotting this on QuickCycle I emailed a couple of questions and got a really quick and helpful reply. I thought I’d give it a try after reading good reviews and decided to spend an extra £90 for the garage to fit it as I didn’t feel confident enough to do it. It worked perfectly and I now have a fully working screen again…and no longer need to translate from Italian! Hoping it will last but just very impressed.

Worked a charm and saved me over 1k! Great instructions. Just take your time. Once the two main bolts are out I had to pull on the bottom of the old screen quite hard to remover (it’s had a clip).
